Nothing in my Head

Well, this post is a little late because I simply got busy with work and life stuff. I will make it short. I wanted to fill everyone in on the results of my latest brain MRI. The MRI showed nothing. My brain scan was completely clean. If you recall, my first MRI showed a small 6mm 'lesion' which was highly suspicious of disease and metastasis. This time, that spot was no longer visible. Now, MRIs don't show 100% of the brain...they take 'slices' which are maybe 3-4mm in thickness. It is possible the lesion still exists but has shrunk and is not being caught by one of the image slices.

In any case, it is good and welcome news. My tumor has gotten smaller and my brain met has shrunk or disappeared.
My radiology oncologist recommended we do MRIs on 2-month interval for awhile to ensure the treatment is still effective and the scans remain clear.
